Yes, there is plenty of it. I will discuss my research in this field on Tuesday, Aug. 7, in Washington, D.C. at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communications annual conference at the Renaissance Hotel Downtown. I will be presenting from 1:30 p.m.-2:30 p.m. in the “scholar to scholar” session, which is a fancy term for a poster presentation. I’ve developed a sharp poster, as you can see above. This research will appear in my forthcoming book, Watchdog: A Gutsy Trade Newspaper, a Congressional Scandal and the Promise of Business News, under contract with the University of Illinois Press, publication expected in 2019.
